STC Slate
The following is the list of the various STC Slate Positions and its requirements. These descriptions are subject to change

Communications Coordinator
The Communications Coordinator is responsible for communication within the STC Slate and publicity/communication between the STC and the larger Stuyvesant community.  Responsibilities include: scheduling monthly STC Slate meetings, writing a weekly STC Slate email update, updating the STC bulletin board (2nd Flr by elevators) and website, creating and delegating the posting of eye-catching posters, and communicating with the SU about video homeroom.

Financial Coordinator
The Financial Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the operating budget of individual shows as well as ensuring the overall financial well-being of the STC. Responsibilities include: meeting with tech crews and show slates before and during each show to establish and maintain show and crew budgets, setting ticket prices, processing reimbursements and payments, keeping constant track of expenditures and deposits, writing detailed financial summary statements for each show, and requesting funding from school organizations like the Student Union, Alumni Association, and the Parents' Association.

Production Coordinator
The Production Coordinator oversees the progress of the four major productions: the One Act Festival, the Fall Musical, the Winter Drama, and the Spring Comedy. Responsibilities include: scheduling and running Vision Meetings (including show slates and crew directors) at the beginning of each major production, meeting regularly with show slates and stopping by rehearsals at least once a week to monitor progress and ensure success, as well as working with the Financial Coordinator to run training sessions for the producers of each major production.

Studio Theater Coordinator
The Studio Theater Coordinator is responsible for overseeing Studio productions: small shows put on in nontraditional spaces (the library, the cafeteria, Room 1025) which have been submitted by a student who wants to direct, involve minimal sets, and are very low-budget. Responsibilities include: advertising for and receiving submissions, reviewing scripts, helping directors with slate interviews and cast auditions, and overseeing the actual running of the shows. The job involves heavy communication with each Studio show slate and cast as well as the ability to solve artistic and technical difficulties of budget and space constraints.

Technical Coordinator
**You do not need to be an expert in theater tech to take on this position. You do need some experience with the backstage workings of the theater, and the ability to enter into good communication with the tech crews. **

The Technical Coordinator is responsible for facilitating communication between the STC Slate and the heads of the various technical crews (tech, art, lighting, sound, costume, props) throughout the year.  Responsibilities include: meeting with the tech crews before and during each show to ensure communication between tech crews, show slates, and the STC Slate; working with the Studio Theater Coordinator to organize the setup of temporary theater spaces for Studio shows; and representing technical considerations at STC Slate meetings, especially when choosing new scripts.
